Clyde Malvern McManigal dropped dead at his home In Horton of apoplexy Sunday morning about 7:10 a. in. He had been fixing the furnace fire in the kitchen when he fell to the floor. He called to his wife, who was upstairs. When she came down he asked her if she thought it was apoplexy. Ho told her to take care of the children and then expired. About three months ago he suffered from a similar attack but recovered from it and had been feeling as well as usual. Saturday night he was down town and attended the picture shows. In 1887, when Horton was just one year old, Mr. McManlgal started the Horton Commercial and conducted it until last year when he sold out to Chas. Browne. He was 48 years old and leaves a wife and three sons, Reed, Wesley and Clyde, and two daughters, Ellanna and Margaret. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. Mr. Buckner of the Methodist church. The Masons had charge of the services.
