Eliberta was survived by 4 sons: Juan of Parachutte, Colorado; Fidel of Newcastle, Colorado; Agapito of Silt, Colorado; and Octaviano of Cebolla; 5 daughters: Maria Eva Vigil of Silt, Colorado; Estefanita Martinez of Universal City, Texas; Elva Ortiz of Albuquerque, and Eulimia Peñas of Los Lunas; sister Francisca Romero of Santa Fe; 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and an aunt.
Funeral services with Mass of Christian burial were on Oct 29th in the Santo Niño Church in Cebolla. Burial was in the Cebolla Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers: Humberto Ortiz, Henry Ortiz, Kevin Ortiz, Raymond Ortiz, Matthew Peña, and Clarence Padilla. Honorary pallbearers: Fran Martinez and Willie Alire.
