Born in Chicago, IL on July 23, 1896. Schary moved to Oakland in 1917. As an architect, he designed several Oakland buildings including H. C. Capwell and I. Magnin department stores. In his leisure he was active in the local art scene. Schary died after his car was struck by a Berkeley city bus on Oct. 5, 1947. Member: Calif. Society of Etchers; American Inst. of Architects.
