Deceased Name: Jeffrey Phillips; West Springfield rites scheduled

The funeral of Jeffrey S. Phillips, 21, of 128 Ridgeway Drive will be conducted Monday morning at Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home and St. Thomas the Apostle Church, both in West Springfield
He died Friday of injuries suffered in a car accident in this town.
Burial will be in St. Thomas's Cemetery, also in West Springfield, and calling hours are Sunday afternoon and evening.
Phillips worked for three years as a chemical operator at Monsanto Chemical Corp. in Indian Orchard, Springfield.
Born in Springfield, he lived most of his life in West Springfield, and was a communicant of St. Thomas's Church.
He was a 1987 graduate of West Springfield High School, and while there was a member of the National Honor Society and the varsity soccer team.
He was also active with the West Springfield Parks and Recreation Department Soccer Association and the Pioneer Valley Soccer Association.
He moved recently to Feeding Hills.
He leaves his wife, the former Suzanne L. Cimino; a daughter, Shauna Lee Phillips at home; his parents, Gerald W. and Candice L. (Barnes) Phillips, and two sisters, Kimberlee Phillips and Erin Phillips, all of West Springfield.
