Mr. Arthur Constant, 63, a painter of 113 Durrett Street in Campbellsville, son of the late Mr. Tom Constant and Mrs. Malissa Long Constant, was born in Larue County, Ky., October 21, 1915. He died at 7:45 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 1979, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Lexington where he had been a patient for the past ten days. Mr. Constant professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II. He united in marriage to Miss Mattie Kirtley, October 31, 1939. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mattie Kirtley Constant, he is survived by three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Mildred Jenkins and Mr. James (Bud) Constant, both of Elizabethtown, Mrs. Martha Fultz and Mrs. Clara Mae Willian, both of Hodgenville, and Mr. Vallie Constant of Magnolia, Ky.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, June 1, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Chapel by Dr. J. Chester Badgett. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Brantley Parsley, Pat Beard, Lee Davis, Richard Karnes, Wilson Mullins, Alfred Price, Robert Richenburg, Lewis Sallee, Lewis Wilson, E.S. Woosley, James Deener, M.B. Gaskins, Carl McCubbin, Noel Newcomb, John T.
