Mike was killed in a small company plane that went down in New Mexico while he was employed with Continental Oil Company. He was my dad's ex-coworker and friend.

Leonard [Mike] Dahlberg Jr. died Thursday in New Mexico. He was 37. Mr. Dahlberg, a 1970 graduate of Sharyland High School live in Mission for 28 years before he began work with Conoco Oil, Inc. in 1982.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard H. Dahlberg Sr. in 1982. Surviving are his wife, Sue Ann [Richardson] Dahlberg of Carlsbad, N.M.; a daughter, Lisa Michelle Dahlberg; a son, Leonard Michael Dahlberg III; his mother, Ruth M. Dahlberg of Sharlyland; a brother, Lloyd Dahlberg of Mission; and four sisters, Le Nora Elliot, Lindy Golleher, and Leitha Dahlberg, all of Mission and Laura Decker of Corpus Christi.
