Leonard [Mike] Dahlberg Jr. died Thursday in New Mexico. He was 37. Mr. Dahlberg, a 1970 graduate of Sharyland High School live in Mission for 28 years before he began work with Conoco Oil, Inc. in 1982.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard H. Dahlberg Sr. in 1982. Surviving are his wife, Sue Ann [Richardson] Dahlberg of Carlsbad, N.M.; a daughter, Lisa Michelle Dahlberg; a son, Leonard Michael Dahlberg III; his mother, Ruth M. Dahlberg of Sharlyland; a brother, Lloyd Dahlberg of Mission; and four sisters, Le Nora Elliot, Lindy Golleher, and Leitha Dahlberg, all of Mission and Laura Decker of Corpus Christi.

The thing I remember the most about Mike was his hearty laugh. He smiled and laughed a lot. I often think about his wife and children and wonder how they are doing. I hope his family will always remember that he was a happy person.
