Gina Horton Begley, age 48, passed away on Thursday, October 18th at Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol. She had resided in Kingsport for her entire life. Gina graduated from Sullivan South High School and received her associate degree from Bristol College. She worked in the medical field for several years. Gina was a loving daughter, wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister and friend. She was a member of Kendricks Creek United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, James W. Horton, grandparents, James E. and Marcella Horton, and Jack and Neva Francisco.
Gina leaves behind her husband, Wayne Begley; sons, Brandon and wife, Sarah, and Ben and special girlfriend, Leslie Mayes; mother, Peggy Hackney and husband, John; brother, Quentin Horton and wife, Kelly; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 22nd from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. John Hackney and Pastor Susan Lankford officiating.
There will be a private family graveside service 2 p.m.Tuesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
