Merle Louise Rone Carlson, 91, died May 14, 1994, in Windsor Estates Convalescent Center, in Independence, where she lived. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Kingston (Mo.) Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Bram Chapel, Hamilton, Mo. Mrs. Carlson was born in Mirabile, Mo., and lived in Cowgill, Mo., Polo, Mo., and Springfield, Ore., before moving to Independence three years ago. She was a retired laundry worker. Her first husband, Henry Harrison Rone, died in 1949. Her second husband, Albin Carlson, died in 1979. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Rone and Dean Rone of Springfield, Mo.; four daughters, Marjorie Atkinson, Helen Schaefer and Virginia Mayes, all of Independence, and Norma McKee, Kidder, Mo.; her twin sister, Pearl Williamson, Independence; 17 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.

Merle Louise (Orr) Rone Carlson, 91, Independence, MO, died on Saturday, May 14, 1994, at Windsor Estates Convalescent Center in Independence.
Mrs. Carlson was born at Mirabile, MO, and had lived at Independence for the past three years. She was the daughter of Arthur Johnson and Clara Ellen (Roberts) Orr. She had operated a laundry for many years in Springfield, OR.
Mrs. Carlson was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry H. Rone; her second husband, Albin Carlson; and an infant daughter, Dorothy Ann.
Surviving are sons, Kenneth and Dean Rone of Springfield, MO; four daughters, Marjorie Atkinson, Virginia Mayes and Helen Schaefer, all of Independence, and Norma McKee of Kidder, MO; a twin sister, Pearl Williamson of Independence; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on May 17 at Kingston (MO) Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton.
