Funeral services for Henry M. Brandt, 77 who died January 28, 1960, at 5:45 p.m. Monday at his home near Anchor IL, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lamb Funeral Home in Gibson City IL. The Rev. Alexander Youck, Pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church near Anchor IL, will afficiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at Sibley IL. He was born Jan 20, 1883, at Sibley IL, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brandt. He married Anna Margaret Huisman on March 16, 1911 at Sibley. He farmed for many years near Anchor before he retired 10 years ago. Survivors are two sons, Louis of Tremond and Albert of Sibley; four daughters, Mrs. Viola Brookstra. Elgin; Mrs. Bernice Shreves, Paxton; Mrs. Mildred Jameson, Elliott, and Miss Norma Brandt at home; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Two sisters, Mrs. Ella Stroh of Sibley and Mrs. Tena Carley of Crescent City, and two brothers, John of Sibley and William of Strawn also survive. He was preceded in death by is wife and three brothers. Mr. Brandt was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
