Donald C. Searcy, a retired carpenter and resident of Winterville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012. He was 71.
Visiting at Zion Travelers Worship Center until service, conducted by Pastor Donald Pollard. Interment in Lady of Knight Cemetery, Port Allen. Arrangements with Hall Davis & Son.
Survived by a daughter, Evette Nicole Thomas (Gregory); sister, Bernie S. Collins; brother, David Warren Searcy; and grandchildren, Malcom D. and Gabrielle N. Wright.
Preceded in death by his parents, Lorine and John Searcy, Jr.; and brothers, Alfred H., Shurley L., and Edward J. Searcy.
