Mrs. Benson was born Bulloch County, Ga., to the late William D. and Florence Smith Deal. She retired as a seamstress for Carol Fabrics with 28 years of service and she was a member of the Langley Church of God.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Don Benson, Bennie Burton and Ritchy Enlow officiating. Interment in Sunset Memory Gardens. Pallbearers are Joey Gullion, Ron Cato, David Benson, Glenn Benson, Scott Ramsey and Chris Alverson.
Friends may call at the residence or on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hatcher Funeral Home, U.S. Hwy. #1, Langley.
