Funeral services for Wilbur W. Manly, 60, of Columbia, was at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home here with the Revs. Kline Ellis and John Gould officiating.

Burial was in Welcome Home Cemetery.

Mr. Manley [sic] died Friday at Columbia Heights Hospital here after a short illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby Manly of Columbia; one son, Jerry Manly of West Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Cristine [sic Christine] Franklin of Olla; mother, Mrs. Isabelle Manly of Columbia; one sister, Mrs. Jewel Ledbetter of Monroe; two brothers, L. E. Manly [sic Manley] of Columbia, and Robert Manly of San Pablo, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dr. W. M. Causey, E. R. Haddox, James L. Adams, Gene Dupree, Elgin McFadden and James Hill.

Mr. Manly was the son of the late Steve Manly who owned Volman Lake near Riverton for many years. He was a member of the Columbia Heights Baptist Church.
