Alexander Turner, 77, of 619 Wabash avenue, died Wednesday morning at the Wabash railroad hospital, Peru. Born in Boone county, he first married Frances Cosby and after her death, married Eliza Barnes, who died in 1918. He was a former section foreman on the Wabash railroad and later was crossing watchman at South street, retiring five years ago. Three sons, Tine Turner, Lafayette, and Jesse and Lawrence Turner, Indianapolis survive. Body at Sollar and Baker funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday. Services Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Ann's church.
