She was born September 19, 1910 in Bourbon Co., KY a daughter of the late C. A. and Nancy Alice Williams Harney.
Mrs. Hinkson was the widow of William Hinkson, a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church in Georgetown, a graduate of Oxford High School, nurses training at St. Joseph Hospital, and a member of the Burnside homemakers.
She was a retired registered nurse having worked at St. Joseph Hospital Lexington, Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana and the Somerset City Hospital.
Survivors include a nephew Walter Mason Harney, 3 neices Dorothy Tidds, Janie Frances and Pat Madden.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday October 19, 2012 at the Battle Grove Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Benny Robbins.
Arrangements are under the direction of Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home.
