Edith Mae Smith Wall Adams, 91, of Earlington, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, at her residence. She was born Jan. 13, 1916, in Hopkins County, KY, to Whit and Jane Young Smith. She was a homemaker and member of Earlington First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Herman Wall and Clifton Adams; two brothers, John Smith and Clifton Smith; a sister, Katie Brannon; and a son, Edward Wall.
She is survived by her son, Billy Wall, of Earlington; three sisters, Ola Belle Durham of Crofton, KY, Mable Patterson of Earlington and Margie Durham of Barnsley, KY; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington with Bro. Dennis Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in the form of donations to Green River Hospice.
