He was an engineer for a paper mill in Corinth, NY where his brother Everett was manager. On 9/17/1936 in New York, NY he married Agnete Elizabeth "Nita" (Wulff). They both died while visiting their son in CO (Harold had a heart attack on the plane, Nita had a heart attack while they were on the way to the hospital).
