Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 27, for
Freddy Fleming , 78, of South Main street in Mt
Airy, husband of Mrs. Hazel Fleming, who died at his
home Saturday morning, March 24.
He was born in Carroll county, the son of the late
William and Emma Farver Fleming. He was a former
member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
He was also superintendent of the Sunday School
and a member of the church choir in Winfield.
Surviving besides his wife are three sisters, Mrs. Cora
Condon, Mrs. Arlene Carlson, Sykesville; Miss
Golda Fleming , Westminster ; two brothers,
William T. Fleming, Eldersburg and Tony
Fleming, Winfield.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. The Rev.
Glenn H Hickman, Ebenezer United Methodist
Church, officiated. Burial was in Ebenezer
Cemetery at Winfield.
