MRS. GRACE ROPP FERRELL of 296 Marion Avenue, widow of A.C. Ferrell, died in Mansfield General Hospital Saturday evening following a brief illness.
Born in Richland County June 26, 1883, she has been a resident of this area all her life. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Womens Guild of the church.
Surviving are four sons, Gayle R., Keith E. and Russell, all of Mansfield, W. Arthur of Pasadena, California; one daughter, Mrs. H.L. Rathbun of Pomona, California; two brothers, Dale Ropp of Mansfield and John Ropp of San Francisco, California; also five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the J.H. Finefrock & Sons Funeral Home where services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. James Haldane Brown of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Mansfield Memorial Park Cemetery.
