Opal Catherine Bolton, 87, formerly of Fairfield, Ohio, widow of Lancer Bolton, died Monday, August 27, 2012 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home. She was born July 17, 1925 in Carlisle, daughter of the late Adrian and Lillian Bailey Vanlandingham. She is survived by a brother, Billy E. (Katie) Vanlandingham, Paris; and several nieces and nephews, Ronald Vanlandingham, Jon Vanlandingham, Jerry Vanlandingham, Susan Vanlandingham, Joy Turner, Mark Vanlandingham, and Kay Mann. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with burial in Carlisle Cemetery. Her nephews will serve as casket bearers. Visitation will be after l1:00 a.m. Wednesday.
