Terry was formerly married to his high school sweetheart, Karen McCann they had two children, Terry Ray McCann Jr. and Sherry Lee McCann. Terry Jr. and his wife, Kelly have three children Megan, and twins, Jeanette and Jack. Terry Jr. has a son, Michael from a previous relationship. Sherry and her husband, Hector Haro have three sons, Tyler, Benjamin and Cameron. Terry is survived by his mother, Pauline Yost McCann Wilson, a brother, Russell, two sisters, Anna "Cathy" (Duke) Nasino and Sally (Robert) Glazier. A nephew, Jason Nasino; and a foster son, Glenn Mills.
Terry was predeceased by his father, Wilford Ray "Rick" McCann and his step-father, Jack Wilson.
Terry fought bravely in the Vietnam War and was injured from an RPG and then suffered for many years from the effects of Agent Orange. He never complained and always had a smile ready.
He was known for being true to his friends and true to his word.
