Jimmie B. Collins, Sr., of Albany, LA went to heaven on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 after a brave battle with cancer. He was born in Baton Rouge, LA on Aug. 6, 1944. He worked as an electrician for Shell Chemical in Norco, LA. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Hano Collins; son, Billy Collins and wife, Holly; two precious grandchildren, Erick Barker and Destiny Collins and their mother Melissa Barker Collins. He is also survived by his 4 children and 8 grandchildren from his first marriage. His brothers are Joey Collins, Jame Collins, and Virgil Tyrone "Tom" Collins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Clifton Fuller and father, James V. Collins.∼This is my father.
