She was born April 26, 1933, in East St. Louis, Ill., the daughter of Thomas and Myrtle (Elef) Enfield. She married Charles D. Fisher on Dec. 31, 1952, in Portland, Ore. He preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 1967. She later married Carl Adolphson on Feb. 13, 1988. He preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1999.
Surviving are her children, Mark (Ramona) Fisher of New Braunfels, Texas, Michael (Florence) Fisher of Chillicothe, Ill., and Rita (Mario) Serrano of Chillicothe, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Chad and Nikki Franklin, Aaron and Adam Serrano, Joshua Serrano, Sarah Bell and Chase and Katie Fisher; and eight great-grandchildren and expecting two more. Also surviving is one sister, Dorothy Klockenbrink of Orange County, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; one brother; and one daughter, Cindy.
Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and eating out. She was a very simple, generous and kind lady.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Her grandson, Pastor Chase Fisher, will officiate. Inurnment will be held in the Chillicothe City Cemetery.
