Husband of Hattie Eileen Eamer Moffat of 188 Balfour St, Winnipeg.

Resided in Brandon prior to moving to Winnipeg in 1946. He was employed at Western Grocers for 12 years and Sherwin Williams for 30 years prior to his retirement in 1971.

Hope was a member and former elder of Riverview United Church, a Mason and a Shriner. Other memberships included the Granite Curling Club, Niakwa Country Club, North West and United Travellers, Kinsmen, YMCA Businessman's Club, Winnipeg Paint Association and Toastmasters.

He was survived by his wife; son James Lyle Moffatt of Winnipeg; 3 sisters - Elva Graham and Ada Gray of Brandon, Olive Carlisle of Carroll; 3 bothers - Robert of Carroll, Lloyd of Welland ON, James of Brandon.
