Christiana Jones was born in Saunders Fork, Cannon, Tennessee to Erasmus Jones II and Christiana Bond. She moved with her family to Red River County Texas and then on to Weatherford, Parker County, Texas. She died about 1867 from brain fever when their cabin flooded and is buried inside the Jones Family Memorial Rock Wall in the Dean Cemetery. Her father donated land for the cemetery.
