Mrs. Annie Horton Abrams, b. 1896 said when she was a small girl living at Martins Mill (at the mouth of Morgan Hollow) there was a bad flood and this old Rose Cemetery was almost completely destroyed. Per Edgar D Byler III, co-Cordinator of the Wayne County, TN webpage, when they did the enumeration of the cemeteries in 1970 and 1971, nothing apparently remained of the old Rose Cemetery. It is not marked on their cemetery maps and isn't included in their listing."
