Helen Earline Welch, 82, passed away October 8, 2012 at her residence. Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Services will be 2pm Wednesday at Gallman Baptist Church with burial in Gallman Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Welch was a member of Gallman Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bill Welch, and son, Billy Roger Welch

She is survived by son, Tony Welch (Norma) of Gallman; daughters, Cindy Barnes of Gallman and Patti Hemphill (Tony) of Hazlehurst; brother, L. V. Barker of Clinton; sister, Betty Culpepper of Baton Rouge, LA; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
