Pauline Schrenk, 99 of Elgin passed away Friday, May 18 at the Apostolic Christian Resthaven Nursing Home. She was born September 10, 1912 in Lamar, Missouri the daughter of Alfred and Mary Heiniger Ramseyer. She had been a resident of River Grove for 36 years and had lived in Elgin since 1988.
She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Elgin.
Surviving are her 3 daughters, Nancy (Ron) Schambach of Elgin, Carol (Edward) Troxel of Hanna, Ind., and Bonnie (Paul) Reeb of Muscatine, Iowa, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a brother, Fred (Ruth) Ramseyer of Kansas
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, a sister and a brother.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 22 at the Apostolic Christian Church, 2740 W. Highland Ave., Elgin with the church in charge of services. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Apostolic Christian Fellowship Center, 2760 W, Highland Ave., Elgin and then on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services in the church. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Apostolic Christian Resthaven Nursing Home. Laird Funeral Home, Elgin is assisting the family.
