Mrs. Lovina E. Stout, aged 83, passed away at the home of her son, C. W. Stout, 712 East Eighth street, about 3 p.m. Thursday, following a brief illness of pneumonia. Surviving her are two sons and two daughters. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday from the home of C. W. Stout, Rev. W. L. Austin officiating. Interment will be made in the Grand Island cemetery.

Obituary
Louvina (sic) Eley was born at Utica, Ohio, on November 28, 1839, and passed away at the home of her son, C. W. Stout, 712 East Eighth street, on Feb. 22, 1923, at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 24 days. She was the daughter of George W. and Lucinda Eley, of Monroe, Wisconsin. Her father, George W. Ely was a life long minister of the Christian church. She was married to Brad W. Stout on January 12, 1862, at Monroe, Wis. Mr. Stout having preceded her in death on October 8, 1922, after sixty-one years of his companionship, she was unable to continue life's journey alone. Surviving her are two daughters and two sons, Mrs. S. P. Cox, of Kansas city, Mo., Mrs. Eva Taylor, of Oklahoma, Charles Stout, and Joseph F. Stout, both of Grand island, as also one brother and one sister. Funeral services were held from the residence of C. W. Stout, 712 East 8th street, at 3:30 P. M. Saturday, Rev. W. L. Austin officiating. interment took place in the Grand island cemetery.
