Obituary:
William Francis Favreau, 68, of this town, died June 29 at Pender Memorial Hospital. Born in Holyoke, Mass., he was a Navy veteran and also served in the Coast Guard until retiring as a master chief petty officer in 1982. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Coast Guard Commendation Ribbon. His wife, Barbara S. Favreau, died in 1998. He leaves three brothers, Laurence of Vermont, Walter of Florida and Richard of Massachusetts; and a sister, Bertha of Massachusetts. Services in Andrews Mortuary Chapel in Wilmington.
