Obituary:
The Alexandria Post, Alexandria, Douglas County, Minnesota
Friday, November 7, 1879, page 4, col. 3.

Died.
Tuesday, Oct. 28th, Hans A. Anderson, a worthy citizen and one of the Board of Supervisors of the town of Belle River. Disease, consumption. Leaves wife and one child. Burial and funeral services last Sunday at Crooked Lake Church. (Fahlun Lutheran?)

(He was Norwegian, so it's possible the services were at Our Saviour's Lutheran in Nelson, Minnesota, and he was buried at the Nelson Cemetery. Mostly Swedes were at the Crooked Lake (Fahlun) church at that time.)

He died 28 Oct 1879, and was buried 27 June 1880 , age 29 1/2, died of Tæring, which means Tuberculosis, according to the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church records of Nelson, Minnesota. The records could have also been from Nelson's Danish Lutheran CHurch, called Trinity. Those two churches merged later.

The mother Maren Hansdatter Anderson's obituary from Alexandria shows their travels to America:
Obituary – Park Region Echo, Oct. 13, 1910, page 5 column 3.
Mrs. Maren Anderson
Another Aged Pioneer Departed
Wednesday morning after an illness of about a year, Mrs. Maren Anderson, died at the ripe old age of ninety-four years and seven days. She was born at Nesodden Parish, Akershus County, Norway, Oct. 5, 1816. She was married and after a few years was left a widow with a young son, Hans Anderson. In 1869 they came to America and settled in Fillmore County. From there they went to Minneapolis and from there together with her son, came to Belle River, where they remained for about three years and in 1880 moved into Alexandria. She resided for some time with her grandchild (Alida Christina Anderson, who married William H. George) and her niece, Mrs. Peter R. Hanson. The last two years she has lived with Hans Antonson. (He was also from Nesodden parish – a relative maybe? I think that Hans Antonson was the brother of Maren Hansdatter Andersons' daughter in law, Maren Antonsdatter Anderson Olsen, 2nd wife of Anders Olsen from Aaseth) The last year she was bedridden and death must be looked upon as a relief.
The funeral is to be held Friday after noon from the Hans Antonson home on H street (now Hawthorne) across from Fedenburg Mill. Rev. Eidsaa of Hoffman officiating. The remains will be placed at rest in the cemetery south of Nelson. (Hans Antonson and family are also buried there.)

It does not mention the son's death - 1879 of Hans A. (Anthon) Anderson, but it does say she moved in to Alexandria in 1880. He has died by then in Douglas County, probably out by Belle River or the Nelson area, since he is buried at the Nelson Cemetery.

Somehow they are either friends with, or related to the Anton Hansons and Hans Antonson family, who are also from Nesodden. Yes, Anton Hanson's daughter Maren Antonsdatter was the wife of Maren Anderson's son Hans Anton (Andreasen) Anderson.
They are also buried at the Nelson cemetery.

I think I find the emigration of Hans Andreasen (Anderson) from Norway, with his mother an someone else traveling with them, as they came to Minnesota in 1869.

The obituary for his mother says that at one time she was living with her granddaughter and niece. So Hans A. Anderson must have had a son or daughter?
Yes, he had a daughter named Alida Christina Anderson, who 1st married William H. George in Douglas County, in 1896, and after Wm. George died in a farming fall of a broken neck, Alida Christina married Alfred Sather, they moved to Alberta, Canada.

This matches Hans and his mother Maren, including their Norwegian last names, in Belle River township, Douglas county, in 1875.

Hans Anderson must have married Maren Antonsdatter (daughter of Anton Hanson of Nelson) shortly after that 1875 census. They had Alida Christina, and then Hans Anderson died.
