Edna L. Simmons of 2238 Queens Court died Monday, May 28, 2007. The body will be placed in the Chapel of All Faiths at 2 p.m. Saturday with services at 3 p.m. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Bennie Simmons, Sr. of Milledgeville; three sons, Bennie Simmons, Jr., Wilbur Simmons, and Kevin Simmons, all of Milledgeville; three daughters, Mary Goodson of Randolph, N.J., Rose Simmons and Sandra Witherspoon, both of Milledgeville; four sisters, Josephine Robinson of South Carolina, Annie Lee Allen of Jonesboro, Lela Jones of Paterson, N.J., and Julia Watson of Atlanta; four brothers, James Wright of Milledgeville, Lewis Wright and Roosevelt Wright, both of Paterson, N.J., and Cleveland Wright of Bronx, N.Y.; 26 grandchildren; and 52 great-grandchildren.
