married 7/21/1865 Lincoln Co KY
Green stayed behind in KY while the rest of his siblings moved to Missouri and then onto TX.
Green and Sarah had 6 known children to me:
Charley M.
William T.
James
Mandy
Mary
Sarah Alice
Green served his Country in the Calvary
Union B 8th Calvary
Father Thomas B. Adams Jr and wife Francis is also buried in the Adams Cemetery with their son Green and his family-
NOTE: There are conflicting reports as to whether Green & Sarah Jane are buried in this cemetery or in another Adams Cemetery, later known as the Simpson Cemetery and now Corner Cemetery in Dog Walk, Lincoln Co., KY. Green & Sarah Jane's son Charles & his wife Amanda are buried in the Corner Cemetery, along with some of their descendants and Amanda's father and there are about 20 additional tombs in close proximity to theirs that are either broken, sunken or no longer readable (if in fact they were inscribed). Some family members believe they are buried there. As for this cemetery, I have tried to verify the tombstones but the roads were too wet at the time I was last there. The owner believes they are our Adams' because a late family member maintained the graves prior to his death. He also reported that the inscriptions are no longer readable due to weathering of time. I did not remove Green & Sarah Jane from this cemetery when I took over maintenance, as I have been unable to verify with certainty which location they are buried in. With the exception of this note, I have left all information as I found it.
