Mrs. Mollie Rude

Mrs. Mollie Castleman Pugh Rude, 84, died yesterday at 4:25 p.m. at her home, 1701 Charlotte Ave., following a long illness.
Services for Mrs. Rude will be conducted tomorrow at 1 o'clock at the Bracey Welsh funeral home by Ira North. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.
Born and reared i n Davidson county, Mrs. Rude was a daughter of Andrew and Marie Drennon Castleman. She had been married to John Pugh about 25 years when he died in 1913.
Mrs. Rude move to Detroit in 1917 where she was employed for several years as a housekeeper. She was married to John Rude, who survives, in 1931.
She had made her home in Nashville for about three years. Mrs. Rude had been in poor health since she suffered a fall two years ago.
She was a member of the Baptist church.
In addition to her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs.w. M. Farrell and Mrs. Mack Jordan; a son Vernon Pugh, all of Nashville; two sisters, Mrs. Sularia Ward of Hermitage and Mrs. Florence Flanigan of Nashville;a brother, Leonard Castleman of Nashville.

A suit for $30,000 damages has been filed in the circuit court against the Foster-Creighton-Gould company by Mrs. Mary E. Pugh, administrator for the estate of her husband, John Pugh, in which it is claimed that her husband was killed at Dover, Ten., while employed by the defendant company.
