Brandon Anderson, 25, died in a car accident on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Services will be held at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Visitation will be on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. and the funeral service on Saturday, October 6 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.
Brandon was born on November 25, 1986 in Des Moines, IA to Dean and Kandice (Troyer) Anderson. He graduated from Urbandale High School and was studying with Baker College for an associate degree in Information Systems. He was employed with Terracon as a Lab Technician.
Brandon enjoyed health and fitness and practiced training, weightlifting, conditioning and recently ran a 7k with his sister in Minneapolis. He was talented with sound and media systems. Above all, Brandon was a caring, giving, and compassionate young man with a wonderful sense of humor. He had an innate ability to light up a room.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family, his parents, Dean and Kandice Anderson; his sister, Nicole Anderson; grandmothers, Marlene Troyer and Louise Anderson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins; and especially by his devoted four-legged friend, Lucy. Brandon was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ronald L. Troyer and Daryl D. Anderson.
