Born September 15, 1933, Ruth was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel (Shaffer) Wesner.
She was a homemaker and spent most of her time volunteering in the kitchen at Union Fire Hose Company #1 in Dover and playing bingo.
Ruth is survived by a daughter, Nancy McCleary of Dow City, Iowa; two sons, Rodney Schwartz of York and Randy Schwartz of Hanover; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a best friend, David Baker of Dover. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ruth's funeral at 1 p.m. and the viewing at 12 noon on Friday at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover.
Burial will follow in Suburban Memorial Gardens.
