Hilda Frances Rawson Allen, 85 of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, June 7, 2007 at the hospital in Madill. Hilda was born on November 6, 1921 to B. E. Rawson and Eunice Estell Roberts Rawson in Dossville, Mississippi. She was raised in Dossville and graduated from the Kosciusko High School. She attended the Singleton College for one year. Hilda married Royce Allen on September 2, 1941 in Galveston, Texas. They were married 61 years when he preceded her in death on July 7, 2004. They lived in several different areas due to Royce being in the service, Maryland, New Orleans and Woodford, Oklahoma before moving to Madill. Hilda was a member of the Garden Club, The Square Dance Club and she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, traveling and loved picnics.
