Allen Charles Antony, 58, of Rice Lake died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Sparta. He was born July 5, 1954 in Sparta, WI to Aloysius and Anna Mae (Leis) Antony and was raised in Bangor. He graduated from Bangor High School in 1972, then graduated with a BS in Engineering from Stout State University. He was married in Stanfold Lutheran Church on August 23, 1975 to Debra Whetsel. They moved to Davenport, IA where Al earned employment at John Deere in the parts distribution warehouse and Debbie gave birth to their three daughters. In 1984, Al continued at the John Deere Horicon Works, retiring as a Methods Engineer in 2009. They moved to Rice Lake and Al became a full-time outdoor sportsman, specializing in crappie fishing and deer hunting. Al was a loving husband, Dad, "Papa" and friend and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by: his wife, Debbie of Rice Lake; 3 daughters: Erin Jean Antony of Horicon, WI; Sara Jane (Daniel) McMahon of N. St. Paul, MN; Lisa Lynn Antony of Columbus, WI; 1 granddaughter, Elizabeth McMahon; his parents, Al and Anna Mae of Bangor; 8 siblings: Rose Antony of Rockwall, TX; Lyle (Jodi) Antony of Holmen; Charles (Rhonda) Antony of Bangor; Dean Antony of LaCrosse; LeRoy Antony of Jackson, MI; Leonard Antony of Melrose; Mary Jo (Gary) Hess of LaCrosse; Peggy (Jim) Larson of Ridgeway, MN; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Al was preceded in death by his brothers, Phillip, Kenneth and Bernie and his sister, Bonnie Warthan.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 22 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church - Campia (2502 23rd Ave, Rice Lake, WI) with Rev. Jennifer Elmquist officiating. Burial will be in Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers are LeRoy Antony, Lyle Antony, Dean Antony, Leonard Antony, Charlie Antony and Gary Hess. Honorary Pallbearers are Jim Larson and Dan McMahon. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at the Skinner Funeral Home in Rice Lake and for 1 hour prior to the service Saturday at the Church.
