She was the beloved wife of the late Donald H. Jones. They made their home in Bel Air, Maryland. She is survived by their two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Kathie Jones, and Eric and Debbie Jones. She was the loving grandmother of Brenna, Quinn, Angelica and Dominic Jones.
Jean is also survived by her brother, Rudolph Burnette and wife, Shirley, of Virginia Beach and sisters, Elizabeth "Liz" Ingersoll of Galax and Pauline Bolt and husband, S.G., of Willis, Virginia.
The family will receive friends to share sympathies and memories on Monday, October 1, 2012 between the hours of 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at the Evans Funeral Chapel located at Three Newport Drive, Forest Hills, Maryland. A memorial service to honor and celebrate Jean's life will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 10 am at the St. Matthews Lutheran Church at 1200 Churchville Road, Bel Air, Maryland 21014. Interment will be at the Parkwood Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Jean's honor to the St. Matthews Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or to Gideons International.
