Clayton J. Fike, 75, of Rudd, Iowa, died on Monday, November 11, 1991 at his residence.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 1991 at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home in Charles City, Iowa, with Rev. M. Reth of the Rudd United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Rudd. The casket will remain closed.

Mr. Fike was born on May 27, 1916, the son of Walter and Martha (Lewke) Fike. In November, 1936 he married Lillian Lawless. The couple made their home on a farm south of Rudd. In addition to farming, he was a tank wagon driver for Larson Champlin Co., which later was Farmers Coop-Champlin of Rudd.

Mrs. Fike died on April 12, 1977.

Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Ed (Martha) Fitzgerald and Mrs. Margaret Powell, both of Mason City, and Mrs. Harvey (Sharon) Jeffries of Rudd; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Dolores Fike of Nora Springs; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a special aunt and cousin, Lena Van Heuvalen and Virginia Howard, both of Cedar Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one son, John Fike.
