LeeAnn was born Aug. 28, 1974, in Danville, the daughter of Gary and Brenda Bennett Ludwig. She married Chad Sprague on July 26, 1997, in Urbana. He survives, along with two sons, Bennett James Sprague and Jameson Lee Sprague, both at home.

She was a graduate of Oakwood High School in 1992 and the University of Illinois in 1997. She graduated from the college of ACES with a degree in marketing of textiles and apparel. She was the office manager of Michelle's Bridal Shop in Urbana.
LeeAnn was a member of the Oakwood United Methodist Church. She was the recruitment adviser of Delta Gamma Sorority.
She was a University of Illinois sports fan and a St. Louis Cardinals fan.
