Marielle A. Agans (nee Agnew), age 81, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012.
Marielle is survived by her 3 children: Cynthia Agans of Crown Point, IN, Robert (Pam) Agans Jr. of Lowell, IN and Williams Agans of Crown Point, IN; 7 grandchildren: Robert "Rob" Trulley, Richard (Ann) Trulley, Bill Agans, Erica Lancaster and Erin Prock, Jessica (Derek) Starr, and Ryan (Carly) Lysek; 9 great-grandchildren: Morgan and Clayton Trulley, Ian Lancaster, Ciraya Prock and Jonas Glaze, Brooklyn, Sarah and Elyse Starr, and Bella Lysek; 2 sisters: Lynelle (Lucille "Toots" Emond) Agnew and Claire Gene (late Harry) Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Agans Sr. and parents: Lynn and Virgene Agnew.
Marielle was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Crown Point where she served as a past deacon and Chancel Choir member. She was also a member of the Martha Circle, St. Anthony Auxiliary and Tri Kappa.
Marielle was a former administrative assistant at Burrell Colour Imaging for 15 years and also a retired dietary supervisor at Lake County Convalescent Home. She enjoyed crocheting, music and shopping.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM directly at First Presbyterian Church of Crown Point, 218 S. Court St., Crown Point, IN with Pastor David Wood officiating. Services will conclude at the church with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre (2 blks east of Broadway) at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. On Thursday the St. Anthony Auxiliary services will be held at 4:00 PM and Tri Kappa services at 6:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the First Presbyterian Church of Crown Point.
