ST. GEORGE, UT - Edith C. Izatt, age 90, died December 11, 2002 in the St. George Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Oct 6, 1912 in Afton, WY to Adolphus Alwin and Sarah Isabella Astle Call . She married Alexander George Izatt June 23,
1933 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The couple raised their family in Salt Lake City. After George retired, they moved to Overton, NV where they spent their retirement years. George died April 24, 1984. Edith continued to live in her new found and loved home in Overton until Jan 2002 when she moved to St. George. She fell, fracturing her hip shortly after her move and never recovered from the injury.
Survived by her sons and daughter, Ronald G. (Ethel) Izatt, Sandy Valley, NV, Dr. Dale L. (Amy) Izatt, Carlisle, MA, Florence Love Carlson, Taylorsville, UT ; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mabel McKibben, Bountiful, UT .
Services Wed. Dec 18, 2002, 2 p.m. Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1950 E. 10600 S, Sandy, UT where friends may call Wed. one hour prior to the service. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
