Mrs. Adams was born in Jewett on July 27, 1905, daughter of Ivy and Mollie Downs Arnold. She was a member of the Christian Church and a former member of the Garden Club of Decatur. She married Charles H. Adams in Decatur in 1923. He preceded her in death in 1974.
She is survived by her sons, Benjamin A. of Decatur; W. Gene of Creve Coeur, Mo.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, one daughter, Patricia Ann, and one sister preceded her in death.
