Blaine B. Beanblossom 68, Mooresville, died Decmber 6, 2004. He was born March 2, 1936, the son of Lionel and Dorothy Byfield, in Indianapolis.

He graduated from Washington High School in 1954, and attended Butler University for one year while playing football. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps, where he played football while at Camp Pendleton. He was a bus driver for Tiger Coach Lines for 6 years prior to his retirement in 1998, and was the co-owneroperator of Beanblossom Mortuary from 1958 to 1965. He was active in the Mooresville Lions Club and The Valley Club of Indianapolis.

Mr. Beanblossom was preceded in death by his wife, Pernia (Ross) Beanblossom. He is survived by 7 children; sons, Kevin B. Beanblossom of Mooresville, Brent Lee Beanblossom of Indianapolis; and William "Kurt" Beanblossom, Michael W. Query, and Mark E. Query, all of Plainfield. His surviving daughters are Cynthia L. Beanblossom of Arizona, and Suzy A. Beanblossom of Beech Grove. Survivors also include his brother, Brant L. Beanblossom of Zionsville; sister, Kaylynne R. Hack of Indianapolis, and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 9, at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville, with calling there on Wednesday, December 8, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Washington Park Cemetery East, Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mooresville Lions Club.
