Arnold "Arnie" Lloyd Blumhagen, 86, of Decatur passed away September 22, 2012. Funeral services were held Monday, September 24, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Blumhagen died Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Riverside Senior Living. He was born January 20, 1926, in Wenatchee, Washington, to Albert E. Blumhagen and Mary Blumhagen. Arnie worked for many years in the Aluminum industry, both in the United States and abroad, and also worked several years as an independent trucker. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Ruth Rush; his brothers, Rex, Dale and Earl Blumhagen; and one stepson,Vic Lyle.

Survivors include his wife of 35 Years, Bettye Blumhagen; one son, Terry Lyle of Vinemont; two daughters, Greta Fawcett (Doug) of Ruther Glen, Virginia, and Katrina Bell (Dennis) of Marietta, Ohio; grandchildren, Mandy, Jason, Chris, Cassi and Loren; and two great- grandchildren.
