Mr. Charles Adams died Saturday afternoon, in the fifty-seventh year of his age, after a brief illness of pneumonia. The funeral services were held at the family residence Monday morning, conducted by Rev. W. M. Wood, and the remains were interred in Spring Hill cemetery by the Lodge of Red Men, of which he was an energetic member. Mr. Adams was a native of this county, having been born and raised near Nevada. He was married to Miss Ellen Lewis, who still survives him with two children, Mr. John Adams, and Miss Ora Adams, recently nominated on the Democratic ticket for Superintendent of Schools. Mr. Adams was well known and was liked by all who knew him and his death is a sad blow to both his family and friends.
