Mamie K Burlison, 89, Carmi, died Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
Mrs. Burlison was born Dec. 25, 1913 in White County, the daughter of John Burkhart and Sarah Leona (Hanold) Stephan. She married John Burlison, and he preceeded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Ruby Burlisdon, Evansville, Ind. and Edith Flowers of Eldorado; five grandchildren and three spouses, Gary and Barry Flowers of Carmi, Cathy and John Hyatt of Springerton, Rose and Tommy Guinn of Mt. Vernon, Ind., and Rebecca J. and Jon Lees of Eldorado; and 9 great-grandchildren, Randy, Jennie, Ange and Amy Flowers, John Hyatt Jr., Brooke and Brandy Guinn, Shelby and Jon Andrew Lees.
She was preceeded in death by two sons, Joe and Robert Burlison and two brothers, Glen and Norman Stephan.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kittinger-Fair Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be at Kuykendall Cemetery near Carmi. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
