Brian T. Strommer, II, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2010 in Blooming Grove. He was 22.

Son of Brian T. Strommer and Sharon A. Hinchey Strommer, he was born in Mineola, NY on November 24, 1987.

Brian was an auto body repairman for Woodcock Auto Body in Washingtonville.

Survivors include his parents, Brian T. & Sharon A. Strommer of Washingtonville; brother, Owen Strommer of Washingtonville; sisters, Brandy Leigh Strommer of Cornwall and Keira Strommer of Washingtonville; paternal grandparents, Ann & Gerard Strommer of Blooming Grove; maternal grandparents, Eileen and William Hinchey of Washingtonville; uncles, Gerard Strommer, II and wife, Jody of Washingtonville and Kevin Strommer of Campbell Hall; cousins, Caitlin & Daniel P. Strommer of Washingtonville, Davan Strommer of Campbell Hall; and many additional aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by an uncle, Daniel O. Strommer.

A family statement reads: "Brian's quick and easy wit endeared him to all. His passion for drumming led to his playing in the band MACCONNELL and his love of cars made his work life a vocation."

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, at St. Mary's Church, 42 Goshen Ave., Washingtonville with Rev. Jeffrey Maurer officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, 2 Fr. Tierney Circle, Washingtonville.
