BarbaraBarker, 78, of La Marque passed away Monday, Oct.27, 2003, at Mainland Medical Center in TexasCity. She was born March 24, 1925, in FranklinCounty, Texas. She was a resident of La Marque since 1947.She was preceeded in death by her sons Robert and Thomas Barker. Mrs. Barker is survived by her daughter Lynda Coe,of Fort Worth, Texas; son Mike Barker of La Marque; four grandchildren Chris and Dori Barker, of Garland, Texas, Sharlynn and Tyler Ferris, of San Antonio, Texas, Ryan and Gennie Coe, of Arlington,Texas and Tobey Barker, ofthe Woodlands, Texas; four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003, at 2 p.m. in Mt. Vernon, Texas at the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
