Mrs. Anna Imogene Carson, 47, 126 E. Fourth St., Wood River, died Monday evening in Wood River Township Hospital where she had been a patient for the past week.

The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Oller, she was born Dec. 23, 1921. She was a member of retail clerks union and the waitress and bartenders union. She had held several offices in the Women of the Moose, including being a member of its College of Regents.

Roy Ellison Carson and Anna Imogene Oller were married May 28, 1938 in Perryville, Perry County, Missouri.

Survivors include three children, Mrs. Pat Arnold, Roxana, Pam Carson, Roxana, and Michael, Wood River; three grandchildren; six brothers, Willis, Morrisonville, Oscar, Wood River, Henry, Jack and Karl, Roxana and Robert, Alton; four sisters, Mrs. Peggy Buehlman, Alton, Mrs. Mary Wheelan, Gary, Indiana; and Mrs. Shirley Brangenberg, Charlotte, Michigan.

Friends may call at Marks Mortuary after 7 p.m. today until services Thursday at 10 a.m. from the mortuary.

The Women of the Moose will hold special services at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
